Many Others (IT)
Olivier Di Placido: guitar
Anthea Caddy: Cello
Francesco Gregoretti: Drum

Anthea Caddy, Melbourne, Australia. Her practice explores the spatio-temporal aspects of sound and architecture, applying these to audio works that manipulate and distort perceptions of time, space and experience. Caddy’s work focuses on the incorporation of acoustic, electro-acoustic and recorded space within performance, installation and concert presentation, often using amplified cello as her primary sound source. In her live performance she uses multi-channel configurations in low lighting or complete darkness. Alongside her solo work Anthea has collaborated with many artists in various projects, most notably with Thembi Soddell (Cajid Media, Room40), Annette Krebs (AnotherTimbre), Philip Samartzis, Magda Mayas (Dromos), Valerio Tricoli, Michael Vorfeld, Liz Allbee (Bogan Ghost), Helena Gough (Entr'acte), Eric la Casa, Werner Dafeldecker, Christian Wolff and Tony Conrad. She is a current member of the 24 piece Splitter Orchestra, Berlin.

Francesco Gregoretti is a drummer/ percussionist working with various combinations of drums, percussion, objects, contacts mics. He is focused on sound-oriented improvisation following the traditions of European free improv, electro-acoustic improv, noise, but also finding his own sound word. He played in One Starving Day while he currently plays in Architeuthis Rex and he is the founding member of the Strongly/ Oddly/ Grizzly Imploded projects as well as MANY OTHERS w/Olivier Di Placido and Cyanobacteria [from the arabian gulf] w/Ron Grieco.

“Olivier Di Placido is a french guitarist. During the years he has developed an absolutely unique approach to his instrument, being able to play it like a turntable, a synthesizer or a gamelan orchestra. Interested in discovering all the possibilities of the guitar, including the most hidden ones, Olivier has litterally invented a new and hybrid instrument, with unfixed neck and moving pick-up.He plays all around Europe since more than ten years, collaborating with musicians and improvisers like Mario De Vega, Arnaud Riviere, Tony Buck, Anthea Caddy, Ruben Patino, Basile Ferriot, SEC_, and MANY OTHERS w/Francesco gregoretti,,, taking part to international festivals and shows.”
